St Wilfrid’s English Hub is one of 34 English Hubs and is situated in the city of Sheffield. St Wilfrid’s places a high profile on reading across our base school through a strong commitment to systematic synthetic phonics and places reading at the core of what we do. Our Hub supports schools across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Our support with schools is centred around 3 main priorities; promoting a love of reading, helping schools embed a systematic synthetic approach to their teaching of phonics and the development of early language.
