Outwood is one of the 34 English Hubs across the country taking a leading role in supporting schools in the teaching of early reading and phonics. We promote a love of reading and support schools with early language development. Our amazing team of Literacy Specialists, intensively support schools in the areas of Hull, Wakefield, Selby and Harrogate focussing on supporting the slowest progress children in Reception and Year 1 and ensure that every child is successful, regardless of their needs, backgrounds or abilities.
