Whiteknights English Hub

Whiteknights English Hub is 1 of 34 schools selected by the DfE for our expertise in teaching reading. We work with schools in the surrounding area providing Government funding and professional support. The Hub’s aims are three fold: supporting schools in delivering excellent Phonics teaching; fostering a lifelong love of reading and promoting early language. Our focus is on supporting the slowest progress children in Reception, Year 1 as well as Year 2 to ensure every child is successful regardless of background, needs or abilities. We offer different levels of support guided by a set DfE criteria.
